2 Grams Premium Saffron

What is Saffron?

Saffron, the world’s most expensive spice, is derived from the stigmas of the Saffron flower and is bright yellowish-red in color. These stigmas are carefully handpicked and it takes approximately 150 flowers to produce just 1 gram of Saffron.  Saffron is used as a spice and coloring agent in global cuisines and has a delicate floral aroma. A few strands can color and flavor an entire dish! Selected Saffron’s products are harvested in the heartland of Spain which has the best climatic conditions for these delicate flowers to thrive in and is certified Category 1 ( Premium grade).
